Cornish to Advise Federal Initiative on Bioenergy Research and Development
Katrina Cornish, an internationally recognized authority on alternative natural rubber biosynthesis and production, has been appointed to an independent panel responsible for advising the federal Biomass Research and Development Initiative, a collaboration between the U.S. Departments of Energy and Agriculture to advance bioenergy technologies. Cornish is a professor of horticulture and crop science. Her appointment to the Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee is for an initial three-year term.
