Mendlovic Named Student Innovator of the Year
Jacob Mendlovic was named the 2017 Ohio State Student Innovator of the Year by Senior Vice President for Research Caroline Whitacre, at the State of Research Address today. A recent College of Engineering graduate, he is the primary inventor of a patent pending, microscale platinum wire probe that uses electrochemical properties to create images of subsurface ground biomass and fuel.
Mendlovic’s research was funded in part by the Office of Energy and Environment Student Research Grant, where he focused on the impacts of water produced from unconventional oil and gas processes. Read more about his research here.
