2017-2018 Student Funding Available for Research, Scholarship, Travel and Student Projects

The Ohio State University is dedicated to advancing education, research, and innovation related to energy, the environment, and sustainability. To further those goals, the Office of Energy and Environment offers student funding in three areas: research, scholarship and travel.

Research Grants

The Office of Energy and Environment offers funding to students interested in researching a particular energy, environment, and/or sustainability-related issue on or near campus. Open to all full-time, degree-seeking Ohio State students.

The next round of applications for research grants will be announced Fall Semester 2018. Check back then for details and the application deadlines.

Scholarship Grants

The Office of Energy and Environment offers funding for student sustainability scholarships for students interested in studying or pursuing a career in energy, environment, and sustainability. Open to full-time, degree-seeking Ohio State undergraduates.

The next round of scholarships will be announced Fall Semester 2018. The scholarships are valued at $1,000 per award, and will be applied to 2019 Spring Semester tuition and fee expenses.

Travel Grants

For students interested in presenting the results of their research or scholarship at an academic conference, meeting, or symposium. Open to all full-time, degree-seeking Ohio State students. Applications are currently being accepted, and will continue until available funding is exhausted.

Coca-Cola Sustainability Grants

The Office of Student Life offers funding for campus projects through the Coca-Cola Student Sustainability Grants. Funding for the 2017-2018 grants has been awarded. The next round of Coca-Cola grants will be announced Fall Semester 2018.
